Yesterday might be tough time for new learners. Today we are starting Function SLIDER in RS View 32.
It is analog part which is used in different programs and provides required output with its analog input. For digital type it works 0 at low and 1 at high.
At first start RS View 32.
Go to FILE--> NEW--> SAVE NAME OF FILE (EG. RITESH)-->DISPLAY-->OPEN FILE.
GO TO EDIT MODE-->GRAPHICS-->LIBRARY -->SELECT SLIDER-->DRAG ANY SLIDER (HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL) ON BLANK PAGE.
Now 3 times click on slider button as shown in figure. (Note: if you clicked in another place of slider then it may stops its function and you should make new one.)
Now GO TO ANIMATION-->COLOUR-->TAG NAME (EG: TT)-->SELECT TYPE ANALOG.
PROGRAM 1: MOVE ANY OUTPUT DEVICE
Make any rectangle on that pageàRIGHT CLICK ON IT AND GO TO ANIMATION-->SELECT HORIZONTAL POSITION--> (The place your rectangle located is 0) TICK STARTING POSITION (0)--> GO TO MAXIMUM POSITION (slide rectangle with mouse and its value changes. Put rectangle at any place where you want to move it)--> GIVE TAG NAME “TT”-->OK.
Go online and slide your slider. You can see your rectangle moving from starting position to maximum position.
THIS IS SIMILAR FOR VERTICAL POSITION. TRY FIRST AND IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE THEN ASK ME.
PROGRAM 2: FILLING
You have slider on your page then ok or make a new slider.
MAKE A RECTANGLE ON YOUR PAGE-->GO TO ANIMATION-->GO TO FILL--> PUT VALUE 0 TO 100-->CHOOSE COLOUR (RED)-->GIVE TAG NAME “TT”.
Go online and slide your slider. You can see your rectangle filling with red colour.
PROGRAM 3: ROTATION
At first make a slider on your page.
DRAW A LINE (you can make any object too) --> RIGHT CLICK ON ITàANIMATION-->ROTATION-->CHOOSE CENTER OF ROTATION -->YOUR INITIAL POSITION IS 0’ SO PUT THE VALUE TO WHICH YOU WANT ROTATION LIKE 360’-->RUN.
If you slide the slider then line rotate from 0’ to 360’.
There is similar property for WIDTH and HEIGHT. TRY IT BY YOURSELF AND IF YOU HAVE ANY TROUBLE THEN ASK ME.
QUESTION FOR PRACTICE
- Move the object “A” from starting to final position as shown in figure using slider.
Tomorrow we will study how to operate programs by command or script.
